Features and Improvements

  • Case Information Displays: Added support for fields sgLoadNetMW, sgLoadNetMVar, sgDistMWMin, and sgDistMWMax to the case information object, so they could be displayed on the oneline with Area 0 to show the total for the whole case.
  • File Formats: Added optional field for hdbexport CSV file imports for the UN, LN, XF, and ZBR records called CID (circuit ID). These are used when reading the the generator (UN) and branch (LN, ZBR, and XF) records from a hdbexport CSV file and used as the generator ID or branch circuit ID when read. If not specified the default behavior remains where a value of '1' is assigned and then values increasing sequentially afterwards.
  • Transient Stability: Added validation warning for MSR1 and MSC1 shunt dynamic model to indicate if the initial voltage is Vpu Added validation warning for MSR1 and MSC1 shunt dynamic model to indicate if the initial voltage is Vpu MvarMin
Also added Transient Stability events logging when a the pickup timers begin for MSR1 and MSC1 models
  • Bug Fixes

    • Available Transfer Capability (ATC) Tool: Fixed a bug with ATC that could indicate that the buyer and seller are in separate islands when they are not. This was caused by choosing the option to use Economic Merit Order ramping for only the buyer or seller.
    • General: When using a hardware key for licensing, Simulator will no longer engage with the software license pwslsim24.exe executable. If a user is having trouble with the software key and switched to a hardware key this ensures that the software key is not being used in any manner.
    • User Interface Dialogs: Fixed some problems with edit mode and run mode branch dialogs related to setting a branch as a Series Cap and retaining the setting correctly. Also removed the Is Series Cap checkbox, since it was redundant and served no purpose now that we have the Device Type setting for a branch, which includes Series Cap.
