Passing Data to the Simulator Automation Server

Most data to the Simulator Automation Server is passed by value rather than by reference (in pointer terminology, this corresponds to sending data instead of pointer to data; in Microsoft Visual Basic®, this corresponds to sending data ByVal instead of ByRef). The individual function descriptions will indicate if results are returned through passed parameters.

No Optional Parameters

There are no optional parameters for any of the Simulator Automation functions. All functions must be called with every argument filled.
